What counts
The market resolves to Yes if a storm named Hanna becomes the first hurricane in the Atlantic between May 15, 2026, and December 1, 2026. It resolves to No if no such storm occurs or another storm reaches hurricane status first. Readers often mistake the formation of Tropical Storm Hanna for the resolution condition, but the storm must officially be categorized as a hurricane.
Written from Kalshi's resolution rules by the same model that writes our headlines. The rules on Kalshi are what decides it.
