How calls are scored
A right call scores one minus the price the market gave that outcome when you called it; a wrong call loses that price. Backing a 25% underdog that wins scores +0.75; backing a 90% favourite that loses costs −0.90. Someone who always agrees with a well-calibrated market ends up near zero, so a positive total means you saw something the market didn't.
