|---|---|
https://newsmarkets-data.alykhanii.workers.dev/data/v1/elections.json | Every priced race, House district and control market on both exchanges: one current price each, with 24-hour change, volume and a link to the market. Settled races carry a `final` block. |
https://newsmarkets-data.alykhanii.workers.dev/data/v1/elections/index.json | The states that have pages, and which offices each has. |
https://newsmarkets-data.alykhanii.workers.dev/data/v1/elections/{state}.json | One state, e.g. texas or new-hampshire: its Senate and governor races with Democratic-side price history per exchange (one point per six hours), and its House districts. |
https://newsmarkets.org/elections/data.csv | The same prices as elections.json, one row per exchange, party and race, for a spreadsheet. |
Fields
Each race has a polymarket and a kalshi book. A book has dem and rep quotes
and, where an independent is priced, others. A quote has p (the probability that side wins, 0 to 1;
exactly 1 or 0 once the market resolves), change_24h (in probability, not percentage points),
name (the nominee, where the market names one), volume_24h (US dollars), and url.
Each side is its own market, so a race's two sides need not add to exactly 1. Kalshi's state comes from its event title
rather than its ticker, because some tickers name the wrong state.

Licensed CC BY 4.0: use it for anything, including commercially, and credit it with a link, for example "Election odds from NewsMarkets, from Polymarket and Kalshi." The prices belong to the exchanges and are information, not investment advice. We cannot promise a price is current to the second: where a state market trades rarely, its price can sit still for hours.
